Erica L. Blanks-Wilson, M.A. LPC-S
Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor

Welcome! I am so glad that you stopped by. I’m Erica – founder of Tea with a Splash of Therapy, LLC.

As your therapist, I get it. Life comes with ebbs and flows – some heavier than others at times causing you to feel weighed down or shaken. That is why I am here, so that you don’t have to feel alone as you walk through it. Whether you have experienced past trauma, present uncertainties, or future related fears, I am here to work with you and support you.

Tea with a Splash of Therapy was created during a time in my own life where I decided to fall forward, scared and all. Throughout my career, I have worked in many capacities where I observed, manuevered, and navigated around people. Whether in a school setting, group home, hospital or office, I’ve been able to see and understand that we are not one dimensional. We all see, hear, taste, smell, and do things differently and uniquely and we all have our own stuff that we carry that can either propel us forward or temporarily pause us. The goal, however, is to simply not stop, but to keep going. That is where I step in.

In my work, I use an integrative and eclectic approach to treatment combining evidence-based practices and psychoeducation with holistic and person-centered modalities. I am honored to serve persons that look different from me, think differently than me, and welcome a friendly challenge. My only goal is to support all of the different parts of you that make you you. Your voice matters and your direction is priority – I’m just happy to be here.

Welcome to Tea with a Splash of Therapy!

I am so glad that you stopped by and that you were curious enough to check out what I have to offer. As the CEO and Founder, my goal is to curate services that fit you. With over 13 years working within the human services field – from being a teacher’s assistant, to a case manager, school counselor and now private practice – I recognize how important this sacred work is. As a somatic therapist, the work we will do together will fit your unique needs.

The first thing I tell any new client is that “I want you to leave better from whence you first came”. Meaning, you and I, we’re a team and as a team, we will work together to get to where we need to be. As we do this work together, we will grow together. Keeping each other accountable along the way, for however long we need. If you are interested in learning more, reach out to get your free 10-minute consultation call scheduled.
